When you tell people you work in the party business, the first thing they always say is, “Wow! Your job must be so much fun!” I can’t say that that job is always that glamorous or fun but, yes, we get to plan parties every day.
Whether it’s a baby shower, bar mitzvah, homecoming dance, graduation, or wedding; Event Planners get to be a part of the best and most exciting parts of our customer’s lives. When you have been in the business a long time, Teri Johnson says, “you get to grow with the customer and share in their most important life events”. You see them through birthday parties as children, graduating high school and college, getting married, and having their first child. It’s an amazing opportunity– one that I hope to be a part of for a long time. Because who doesn’t like a party?
